USA Today bestselling author Cheyenne McCray continues her sizzling series with an erotic tale about a gifted witch and a powerful warrior who together create WICKED MAGIC.
A DARK SECRET
Rhiannon Castle is a D’Anu witch whose Coven sisters know nothing of the Shadows that lurk within her. Rhiannon can’t reveal the truth to anyone-least of all Keir, a rugged soldier who walks into Rhiannon’s life and awakens her to a reckless desire.
A SEARING PASSION
Keir’s Tuatha D’Danann brethren are the only real family he has ever known. He trusts no one-until he is sent to San Francisco and meets Rhiannon, the one woman with enough fire to tame him. Every seductive encounter convinces Keir that she belongs with him-even though Rhiannon knows her powers could put him in peril.
A SHARED DESTINY
A new threat rises from the depths of Underworld. When a demon goddess unleashes her evil upon our world, Rhiannon’s secret could prove the ultimate weapon in this epic battle-or forge a pathway to destruction for the only man she’s ever loved.
ABOUT CHEYENNE McCRAY
USA Today bestselling author Cheyenne McCray has a passion for hot romance and a happily-ever-after, but always with a twist. Among other accolades, Chey has won the prestigious Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Award for “Best Erotic Romance of the Year.”
Chey penned her first poem in kindergarten, and has been writing ever since she can remember. She always knew one day she would write novels, hoping her readers would get lost in the worlds she created, as she did in her favorites.
Now, she gets to write full time and loves what she does. She’s married to her college sweetheart, has three sons, three dogs, a messy house, and she will do anything to get out of cleaning, which may be why she writes so much.

My daughter ate her snack today!
I was with her for lunch, but she was on her own for snack. I got so excited that she’s determined to do it again.
I got over the “hump” in my book, the part of the book you have to write to get the part you want to write. Writing a book is like driving over hilly terrain for me. The uphill parts are slow going and wear me out. The downhill parts are the sections that made me want to write the book to begin with. Those scenes are different with every book, but I love them. That’s when I hit the zone and the pages just flow. Days like today are the ones that make me worship my job. I’m a lucky gal to get paid to do what I love.
TGIF tomorrow! Yay! We don’t have any special plans and I work just as much on the weekends as I do on the weekdays, but still… There’s something special about Friday, isn’t there? I hope yours is a good one. ((hugs))
So, today I joined my daughter at lunch and found out that she hadn’t eaten at snack time. Her teacher said they’d managed to coax her into taking her snack out to the tables, but they couldn’t get her to eat it. I was bummed about that, but she did eat everything when I sat with her and she drank all her milk. I spoke to the lunch monitor and I think I found out what the problem has been.
It’s been raging inferno hot here in SoCal. Over 100 degrees every day. They haven’t allowed the kids to play outside because of the heat (which is dry like an oven here, not humid) so all the kids have been crammed into the multipurpose room during recess and lunch. Let me tell you… the noise of hundreds of kids screaming and laughing is loud outdoors. Inside, it must have been deafening. The lunch monitor said it was. They were relieved to let the kids loose on the playground.
So I think that’s been a large contributor to my daughter feeling overwhelmed. After eating outside with me today, she ran out to the playground with her friends and had a great time. I’m hopeful that things will become easier for her now that the temperature is lowering a bit. She wants me to have lunch with her again tomorrow and I’ll go, but I think after that she might be okay. I’m going to use Jessica’s suggestion and give my daughter a token of some sort for snack time. I suggested a rock or a necklace, and my daughter liked both ideas. We’ll see tomorrow when I meet her for lunch if it helped her to feel comfortable enough to eat her snack. *fingers crossed*
