When a new book releases, I’m always both very excited (Yay!! It’s out in the wild!) and very nervous (oh…I hope readers enjoy it!). Yesterday was the release day for my latest Kensington Brava, ANGEL IN CHAINS, so I was definitely feeling that mix of excitement and nervousness all day.
I loved writing ANGEL IN CHAINS–the hero, Az, was more than a bit wicked in my the first two Fallen books (ANGEL OF DARKNESS and ANGEL BETRAYED). I wanted to keep him on the wicked side, but I also wanted to show that he could be more than just the bad guy.

I love the paranormal romance genre because there’s a thrill in the unknown, the magical. Something so unworldly is always intriguing, so being tangled up with that sort world makes a romance all the better. Can’t wait to read ANGEL IN CHAINS, Cynthia! I’ve been waiting on my toes for it

Paranormal romances draw me in with their mystique, the otherworldly characters and their lives, abilities, the way they may or may not try to blend in with the norm. What amazing and interesting characters that come to life in the pages of a book! Congrats on your release!

I love reading about paranormal characters–I never know what to expect, and that’s part of the pleasure.
I love paranormal books – all types, be it Angels, wolves, ghosts, witches, the list goes on and on. I’m not sure why. Maybe because it provides such a great escapism from my ho-hum life. Who doesn’t like to read about gorgeous people with powers we’d love to have, that are so loyal to their mates and loved ones. We all want to be swept away every once in a while.

I’m not sure why exactly I love paranormal romances. I’ve been reading them forever. I started reading paranormal with Anne Rice’s vampires and then delved into the paranormal romance genre soon after. I love that the heroes are powerful and strong.

I like that there aren’t as many rules or restrictions. The author is free to use their imagination to create the characters and doesn’t have to stick to the facts all the time. There is so much more flexibility and places you can take the story
An imagination can be a very powerful thing!
I love reading paranormal romance because I get to go to a whole new world where anything is possible! The same rules don’t apply in paranormal romance!
Plus I have a thing for bad boys and what can be badder then shifters, vamps, and all the other paranormal creatures

In answer to you question, I love PNR because there is usually a hint (or more) of danger, handsome/rugged Alphas and kick ass heroines. what i love in the paranormal romance is the fact that love conquers everything even the barriere of species etc and if it’s so hard for some creatures and that they still achieve it, find love i think it gave me hope that one day i will too ( after all ^^ there is less obstacles)

I love paranormal romance because of the endless possibilities. The endless definitions of beauty, strength. It takes away the hinderences of the normal world, giving everyone a chance to fly, to be strong and courageous in many different ways. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder in paranormal romance.
I am caught up in a world without limitations , where imagination is encouraged and nurtured.
Paranormal romance is my escape from whatever I need to escape from at any particular moment…

I love the possibilities inherent in paranormal stories…the amazing powers that the beings have, the strong bonds that they have with each other as well as that mating connection that forms and promises undying loyalty and love for each other. Good luck with the new release.

I love paranormal romances because of what can be possible in them. It opens up a whole different world of possibilities.
I have always loved paranormals! Don’t really know why unless it’s just the thought of the unknown or what if’s.. I love your books, and can’t wait to read Angel in Chains.
It’s the difference yet similarity of paranormal romances, there’s always an aspect of them that is “strange” I love them and hope that all the authors of paranormal romances will continue to write them for a long time to come.
I think what draws me to paranormal stories is the world and characters that are so different than the world I know. It’s just so fun to see the creatures of legend (and some I’ve never heard of) come to life in stories.

Why I love paranormal – well it gives reality a bit of mystery and a touch of the mystical. It makes one think “If only that is true”. The characters are always so much MORE; especially since you cannot find it in real life
I like the settings and characters.
my first paranormal read was interview with a vampire by, the queen, anne rice. and i never looked back, in fact i rarely read out of the genre. i love that the worlds and characters created basically have no boundaries to what can happen and what they can do. and the fact that damn near 100% of the time the lead male is a to die for alpha, who loves and protects with unsurpassed devotion to their lover/mates/family is always a plus. i admit, its those amazing alpha men that keep me coming back for more

I love paranormal romances because of what people can do in them and what is possible that isn’t in real life. I mean, who wouldn’t sometimes wish they could become invisible, teleport to another place or make a wart appear on some nasty persons nose.
Having won an Arc of Angel In Chains I have to say I LOVE, LOVE this couple. Az is an awesome Alpha.

I love paranormal because the “rules of this world” can be bent or disregarded altogether. I like to be surprised by what I read and enjoy a writer’s “outside the box:” imagination. But I read romance because it has to have a HEA at the end !
I love paranormal romances because they are so far from reality while still giving me the romance that is a must for me in book. I get to visit places I would otherwise never go and meet people/species I wouldn’t otherwise meet and to me it is just like a normal day. Because it is my other reality that I go to when I need to get away for a little while!
Of course I feel like this with all my books…just most don’t have vampires, werewolves, demons, angels, etc. in them! I love them all so much!
Paranormal romances are exciting and daring and extraordinary. They take me to another place and another time where absolutely anything is possible. Nothing is as it seems and there is always the possibility to live out any and end every fantasy!! The men are hotter the women are more daring and everyone’s ability to experience everything is heightened by the unknown. I am able to let go and explore every avenue imaginable and unimaginable!!! Paranormal romances of all kinds ROCK!!!!
I love paranormal romances because they push the bounds of possibility. They make you believe that this could actually be truth of the world, that there are such creatures and that they can do special things. It’s a great escape from the existence we all live in.

I love paranormal romances because it gives you an opportunity to “step into another world”. You can close out everything else around you and escape. Anytime I’m having a bad day, that’s when I’ll pull out a romance novel (mostly paranormal) and read. Hope all is well!
