I think I could like the silence. It would give room for more creative thoughts, for more reading, more conversations with friends and family. I actually did move the TV into the garage one summer when our kids were little. We played board games, went for more walks, read aloud and just plain lived our lives instead of watching others live theirs. I loved it. The only reason the TV came back into the house was the start of NFL. The DH needed his football. I pulled a real no no recently when I held a glass of Pepsi and my hand jerked and the whole glass spilled over my keyboard and dripped into the tower.
