Actually my daughter who is a creative web designer just won her office Halloween costume for the 3rd year in a row. This year she put on a flesh colored body suit with flesh color leggings. She put a red clown nose on. Made felt covered bones and body parts and hooked a pair of tongs from string from her hand. She went as the board game “Operation” where you have to get out those little pieces of bones and things with tweezers without making the red nose buzz. LOL! Another year she was an iPhone. And another year a Ninja turle. She makes all of her costumes from scratch. I have no idea where she got this creativity.

If you have an old black umbrella and some all black clothes you could go as a bat. Just use the material from the unbrella as your wings by tacking or pinning to the arms of your top (and it’s pretty comfortable too).

Actually if you had a white sheet and a white dress you could do the same but make them angel wings instead.

My kiddo is making a papier mache costume and painting it to look like the red bird in Angry Birds, while her friend is doing a similar project to be one of the green pigs in the game. I just hope they don’t have to use the bathroom much!

Hi Cynthia

Can’t wait to read Angel of Darkness.

Anyway my costume this year is an idea from my mum. She told me about when my nana dressed up as an indian princess in a beautiful sari.

So I decided to do that this year. So I’ve got a beautiful red and gold colour sari and my mums going to do all my make up.

I don’t normally dress up for halloween, but as I’m going to a party, I thought why not.

This year I’m going to be a banshee. I have the white costume and I will put white streaks in my hair and paint my face white and gray. My daughter is excited because she is going to be the princess and mom is wearing something completely different.

It’s been years since our last Halloween party, so no wonderfully creative costumes to share. When I need something in a hurry I tend to go with a gypsy costume. Scarves, earrings and a long skirt I always have in my closet to grab.
