Thank you so much for all of the holiday comments! I had a wonderful time reading them! I randomly picked a winner, and that person is…Temara. Congrats!!! And I hope you are all having a great weekend!
I’ll confess…the main holiday that is on my mind right now? Halloween. I love the thrills, the chills, the spooky movies, and of course, the candy. (Come on, I’m not the only parent out there who likes to dip into her kid’s candy bag, am I?)
But I’m not just thinking about Halloween. I’m also thinking about–Christmas. And not just because I have some friends who are over-achievers and have already completed their Christmas shopping. (Sob.) No, I’m thinking about Christmas because on next Tuesday (October 4!), the mass market version of THE NAUGHTY LIST will be available from Kensington Brava.
THE NAUGHTY LIST is filled with 3 sexy, holiday tales–perfect for those times when when you just want to sit down, relax, and sink into the holiday spirit.
So how about we do a giveaway? I’ll send a copy of THE NAUGHTY LIST to one commenter. Just tell me which holiday you are looking forward to the most right now. I’ll pick the winner on Friday, September 30th. Good luck!!

Hi, Debbie! Thank you!! And I am with you on that Christmas love–it is such a wonderful time! Can’t wait for all the Christmas goodies, songs, and general holiday cheer to hit!
I’m a Christmas-kinda girl! Even though I’m living in the desert now and we don’t get the snow, I still love this holiday! Woot!!!!
Great post

Lynn, you aren’t alone! We snow here about once every ten years. And people seriously freak out when they see a few of those beautiful flurries!
I’m definitely looking forward to Christmas! It will be our first holiday as a married couple, and able to wake up Christmas morning in our own home : )
That’s so wonderful!! Congratulations to you both!
I am a Halloween type of gal followed closely by Christmas. I know they are quite different, but they both have their awesome qualities.
Both are holidays fun for both the young and not-so-young!!
I think they both have their awesome qualities, too, Amy! Spooky fun vs. good tidings.
Definately Christmas for me! I hate the heat and can’t wait for the snow! Plus all of the family gets together and it’s just a great time!
I love those family get-togethers, too! My MIL always has a big breakfast on Christmas Eve morning. I so look forward to her hot chocolate!
While I love all the major holidays for various reasons, Christmas for singing carols, snow, and gift giving….4th of July for parades, fireworks, and celebration of country….Thanksgiving for the gathering of friends, family and lots of food. But my favorite holiday I guess would have to be New Years Day. I love the sense of a fresh start, a new beginning. New Years Day heralds new opportunities for the upcoming year. kmiller@eotnet.net
Kathy, I really like the way you think!! What a great reason to love New Year’s!
I always look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Son #1 was born the day after Thanksgiving and Son #2 was born a few days before Christmas. Holidays and Birthdays I just love it.

Lori, it sure sounds like you have a lot to celebrate during the holiday season!
Cynthia is a new author to me, I started reading her books this year. I have read 5 and have the rest on my “wish list” as my TBR pile is soooo big, if I buy more books before I read these my husband will have a stroke!
would love to read this one!
Oh, no! We don’t want your husband to have a stroke!
My favorite holiday is Christmas because all the joy in the air that surrounds christmas. All the kids that run around laughing and smiling. Family gets together and tell Christams tales and have a big family dinner. All the decorations that get put up and all the Christmas plays. The celebration on Jesus and of course gifts!!

LOL, I am all for the easy holidays!
Christmas – big family get together with lots of great food!
I love the special treats that appear around Christmas. Gingerbread cookies, pies…
I’m going to go with Halloween. What could be better than dressing up and eating chocolate?
There are only a very few things that I think are better than eating chocolate…
That’s tough because I love the next 3 big holidays coming up. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas have always been my faves, probably because I was born in the middle of November so the fall is my time of year and Christmas is just always special family time. =)
Thanks for this great giveaway opportunity too!!!
Hi, Valerie! I love that these 3 big holidays all follow each other, too. There’s always something to look forward to at this time of the year.
I’m looking forward to Halloween. I love the see the little kids in their costumes. They study the candy basket to see what’s there & then ask how many they can have. Of course, the parents are in the background loudly whipering “don’t be greedy”.
Then the next day I’ll be looking forward to Thanksgiving. I just look forward to whichever holiday is next.
Ooops…time for another confession.
I’m the parent who stands behind her child and whispers, “Go for the chocolate.”
Hi
Since it is up next, I am looking forward to Halloween. It has evolved into a fun and silly way to embrace the fall season.
Thanks
Pam
I think it can be a lot of fun–when you throw in some apple bobbing, you can brighten up any party!
Halloween – it’s coming up and I don’t have to do anything to get ready for it!
Don’t you like it when you can just sit back and enjoy a holiday?
I’m looking forward to any holiday that involves weather cooler than 80…and that would be Halloween and it’s right around the corner. Love to put up All Hallows Eve decorations including a very life-like skeleton hanging from a noose. Fun! I do love Thanksgiving and Christmas, too, for many reasons, not the least of which is great food and great comppany.
Can Black Friday be considered a holiday? Well I guess it’s more of a tradition, but one I look forward to every year!!! I’m already gearing up for it… I know crazy, right?
Besides that I really, really LOVE Christmas (I guess that’s no surprise)… I just love giving gifts and watching movies and eating good food all snuggled up with my family. Good times!!!

christmas break lol
congrats on teh book
love the giveaways
Thanksgiving ! It’s two weeks away and I’m going to spend it at my Dad’s this year!
I have to say Thanksgiving, because I get to eat all the stuff I deprive myself of all year long….Especially since my family makes both American and Puerto Rican food…. YUM!!
I’ll have to say Christmas. I like seeing the malls and homes all decked out. Now that we are all older less emphasis is on the presents but more on spending time together and the food! Can’t celebrate without a feast
