I have heard this A LOT and honestly, I have to say I agree. :) There are wonderful books I like to read with covers that are a little racy for tucking in my purse and taking out at the Starbucks while I'm waiting on my daughter's practice to be over. :)

I do love printed books...and book point about loss. :) Never thought about that - though I should have considering how often I misplace my keys, purse, et al.

What I find best about reading on my nook or smartphone is that I no longer have to justify my reading taste because of the covers. The cover does help determine which books I read and/or buy. While I like looking at those hunky half dressed men I'm not sure I want to flash them around in all the different public places I read. We all judge books by their covers some of us the hunkier the better but others will judge not only the book but the person reading it.

I have to have some printed books to read and enjoy. The covers are better you can look a favorite part in a book enjoy over and over. Also if you lay them down place in doesn't cost as much to replace.

Thants an interesting point -- now that you say that, I also read faster in print book than in ebook. I wonder why.

Thanks for the compliments on the cover and stopping by!

Ok seriously that is one of the best covers I've seen in a long time. I would buy the book for the cover alone  I think it's a shame that there are really great stories out that get overlooked because of sucky covers. Unfortunately, no matter how many times we say it to ourselves not to judge a book by its cover... we still do. A great cover really adds to my overall excitement to reading a story especially if I am highly anticipating the book. The cover can tell a story all its own and either help or hinder the hard work of the author.

I agree with you too... I enjoy the prints a bit more than the ebooks. Seems like I read faster too if the book is a print versus electronic :???:

That cover is simply scrumptious and I just want to lick it. LOL But I shall contain myself. (LOL) I still like the point of teh V of "Fever" points at a certain place. ALWAYS it draws my eyes there.

But I'm like you... I have the kindle, I use it a time or two but given the choice I really want it in paperback than ebook

Hey Leisa,

Thanks for coming by. I do LOVE my covers too. And sometimes, even though I might not get around to rereading one of those "keepers" I'll take it out and look at the cover now and then.

I so want to whine about the value of a paper book versus an ebook right about now, but I'll control myself.
