I thought I’d celebrate April Fool’s Day by getting this blog out incredibly late today. Sorry about that!
So, I’m thinking about packing for the RT convention next week in Los Angeles. This will be my first RT, so I’m not quite sure what to expect. I think it may be a bit different than the RWA convention considering there will be fairy balls, mystery hunts and so on. This convention is geared toward readers as much as authors. Should be a lot of fun.
I love conferences and this one will also have many workshops. Workshops are my favorite…
So, are you going to be in LA next week? If so, come by. There’s a book fair on Saturday (April 9th) where more than 300 authors (including a bunch of us Brava authors) will be signing books and giving away prizes. Some of the hottest cover models in the industry as well as those studs competing for the Mr. Romance competition will be wandering around.
Also, if you’re attending the conference, I’m manning a table in CLUB RT on Thursday (April 7th) at 10:00 am. Please come by and say hi. I’ll have chocolate. You can also win a bag of free books! I hope to see some of you there. Kensington will also have a publisher’s spotlight the same day from 1:30 to 2:30, and a morning mixer Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:45. Goodies and talk!

I really enjoy going to conferences and meeting up with people you just talk to on the internet. I won’t be in LA next week, but I hope you have a wonderful time!
Hi Calla! I agree about meeting those people we only see on the net. My critique partner lives in Alabama, and we meet up at conferences. Have a great weekend!
I’m hoping to make it to the conference- at least on Saturday. If I’m there, I’ll definitely find you at the book fair! Great info here.
Hi Becca! I hope to see you there!
I’m so sad to be missing this one. Sigh. Maybe next year. Have fun and take notes for the rest of us!
