Do you remember the first Brava novel that you ever read? I do. The first Brava that hooked me was ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT, a sexy anthology that featured stories from Suzanne Forster, Thea Devine, Lori Foster, and Shannon McKenna. (Come on–like you could go wrong with that line-up! It was like a dream team for me.) I remember reading the stories as fast as I could–and becoming instantly hooked on Bravas.
Why?
Because the stories were sexy, they were emotional, and they were full of action.
One Brava, of course, led to others. So many others. My Brava books currently overflow my shelves. There are Brava books in every romance sub-genre. There are Brava books about vampires (I write some of those! And Rebecca Zanetti has a great new vampire series coming out!). And there are Brava books about sexy cowboys (my friend Emma Lang writes those). There are sexy historical Bravas (by such great authors as Sylvia Day and Maggie Robinson). And there are fun contemporary Bravas (I am a big fan of HelenKay Dimon‘s work).
So many Bravas. And I sure do enjoy them!
What about you? Do you remember your first Brava?

Hmm, this is tough… but when you mentioned HelenKay Dimon, it made me think that I’m pretty sure it was one of hers, an anthology that I won some years ago. Have quite a few others of hers that I got since then too.
That one also was my first ARC, where I learned not all stages of a print book have a cover yet. LOL So a lot of firsts with that one.

Hi, Lois! HelenKay has been in some great anthologies–one I really enjoyed was When Good Things Happen To Bad boys (loved that title!!).
Hi Cynthia! My Brava books overflow my shelves, too.
I think the Lori Foster novella first caught my eye. The tension always threading through a Brava book always keeps me coming back for more…regardless of the subgenre. Have a great week!
Thanks, Rebecca!! Lori Foster has sure written some wonderful Bravas–and they are all on my shelves, too!
Hi Cynthia, my first Brava book was Bad Boys Online. That was the beginning of my “Bad Boys…” book obsession.
I really love the anthologies; lots of goodness all at once. Thanks!
I have that book! It hooked me on Erin McCarthy!
Oh, thanks for the shout-out, Cynthia! When my editor welcomed me by sending me a big box of Brava books, I was so excited! (and read more than wrote for a while, LOL)I just love the covers in the line and feel so lucky to be a part of it.
Thanks for writing such great books, Mrs. Maggie!
Keep ‘em coming!
