In the U.S., we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow. Lots of turkey, rolls, ham…and family. Thanksgiving is the time when we are all supposed to take a moment and reflect about the things that we are truly thankful to have in our lives.
For my post today, I just wanted to take a few moments and tell you how thankful I am for all of the readers out there. Thank you for buying my books. Thank you for writing me emails and telling me which characters you’ve enjoyed the most. I know you have busy lives, and for you to take the time to contact me–well, it is certainly appreciated. Thank you for interviewing me. Thank you for writing about my stories on your blogs or your facebook pages. Thank you for reading my stories.
Without readers, where would I be?
So this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my readers. (I’m also thankful for my lovely editor, Megan Records!) I’m thankful that I get to write stories about sexy monsters and love.
I’m a very thankful lady.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
Be safe and have a great holiday!

I’m thankful for the same things, though on a smaller scale than you. lol I’m also thankful for my writer friends and family. Pets, too. Both my dogs are older, so I’m appreciating them while we still have them.
Edie, I am very thankful to have you—and all of the Magical ladies–in my life. Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m thankful for friends and family – and you! You’re the best and I love ya. And I’m also thankful for my eyesight so I can read those awesome books that writers work so hard on to bring joy and escape to other worlds. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Aw, Jillian, love you, too!!! Have a safe and happy holiday.
Hi Cynthia! *waving*
I’m very grateful for my family and friends. I’ve been blessed with some amazing people in my life.
As far as writing goes, I’m thankful for all my blog readers who encourage me everyday in the quest for publication. I’m also SO grateful to the published writers out there who have been so gracious answering my questions along the way.
2010 has been a tough year around my house, but in the end I still feel so lucky. What a gift!
Happy Thanksgiving Cynthia!!!
Your new book sounds great too!!! Hope you sell a ton of copies!!!
Lisa
Thank you, Lisa! And I sure hope that 2011 treats you very, very well!
Thanks Cynthia!!! We’re definitely due for a great 2011… I hope! LOL

I’m thankful for my DH, our daughters, my parents and sisters, for good health and jobs and a lovely, if small, condo to call home. I’m thankful for my editor Alicia Condon and my agent Natasha Kern and all my wonderful writing friends.
But I have to agree with you, Cynthia. I’m so thankful for readers. Without a reader bringing her imagination to our pages, no magic can happen.
What a wonderful list of things to be thankful for!
Hi Cynthia! I’m thankful for my wonderful family and friends. Especially my writing friends like you.
And I’m thankful for our lovely editor Megan and the folks at Kensington as well.
Everyone celebrating Thanksgiving have a terrific day!
Hey, Rebecca! I’m thankful that I had the chance to meet you in person at RWA–and I hope to see you again at the next conference! Be safe and have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!
Hi Cynthia,
What a nice post.
I’m thankful for all that I have and that I am alive. I grew up poor and am now considered upper middle class. I am a cancer survivor who got off easy compared to many. I thank God for all the beauty I am allowed to experience every day. I am thankful for being born in this country where I have everything. And I am thankful for all of you fantastic authors who give me joy.
Happy Thanksgiving – Peace!
Viki, you are amazing. Such a wonderful, heart-felt thanks.
