My first Christmas anthology releases next Tuesday–THE NAUGHTY LIST will be out in plenty of time for you to develop some holiday cheer. I had such a great time writing this book. I think one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much was because I actually got to write the book during the holiday season. As I was writing the story, Christmas movies were airing on TV, the stores were full of gorgeous decorations, and the holiday spirit was definitely in the air. Sure made for an easy writing mood.
I generally write paranormal stories throughout the year, but I have to confess…I always have more fun during the month of October. I’m gearing up for Halloween, and I can’t wait to tell the stories about my monsters. In October, I usually have to force myself to stop writing–otherwise, I probably wouldn’t sleep. What can I say? I get in the Halloween mood just as much as I get in the Christmas mood!
I hope readers enjoy THE NAUGHTY LIST. My contribution to this anthology is “All I Want For Christmas.” There aren’t any paranormals in this novella–just a sexy Santa/cop. I like those guys. Pity I don’t actually see a lot of sexy Santa cops–do you?
And since the title of my novella is “All I Want For Christmas”–I’d like to know…just what do you want this year? Have you started thinking about gift ideas yet? My son sure has! We’ve got a list that is four pages long!
Have a great day!

THE NAUGHTY LIST–Available 9/28/10

I’m already planning Christmas shopping this year and my kids lists are already pretty long as well.
As for me? All I want is a gift card to the bookstore and a certain hand knit shawl I’m drooling over on etsy.
Can’t wait to read about the Santa/Cop!
Brandy, I really like your “want” list! Sounds like a perfect gift combo.
Congrats on the upcoming release, Cynthia. I would love an ereader. The prices have gone down, so I’m hoping to see one under the tree this Christmas.
Oh, Jane, me, too! I want one very badly! I hope you get this present!
lol Cynthia – your son is too cute! And… well at least you know you guys will be getting him something he wants :X Lots of choices there, right?
So excited for this anthology – I love the Brava Christmas ones … and I’m glad it’s on my radar because I going to do a guest post at the Borders blog about Christmas/Holiday romance novels.
As for what I want for Christmas… and this made me sigh out loud… a job. >.< Ugh – but that's so… dreary. So let's go with Cole Haan Air pumps. To wear to that future job
Limecello, I hope you get the job and the pumps! And I can’t wait to read your post about the holiday stories–I am sure it will give me a great book shopping list.
This is always a tough question for me. Drives my family crazy too because it makes me hard to buy for. They generally know if it has ink on a page, I’m going to love it. However, I’ve recently started using the Kindle on my phone. It’s surprisingly easy to read and in such a little space, I’ve got 4 great books. I may have to retire my bookshelves . . .
