Losing someone around the holidays like that is awful. I lost my dad the day before Valentine's. (Which is why you don't usually see me celebrating the holiday much; even as a romance author & even at WIPs, I tend to not be able to work up much enthusiasm--I *hate* Valentine's Day, & not even for the usual reasons.) I lost someone just after Thanksgiving one year, too, & not a single Thanksgiving goes by without that memory popping up to haunt me at least for a little while. :cry: {{HUGS}} But not sadness when you read BITE, okay? Thankfully it will be out even before Xmas, so you can enjoy it before the true holidays threaten to funk you out. :mrgreen: Oh, Hollie, I’m so sorry.
