As Zach walked into the bar he caught her scent.

And the last line of the first chapter:
He grabbed her hair and pulled her head around for a fierce, branding kiss. Sealing them together for a lifetime. “You are mine. Happy Birthday Sara….”

I love first lines! I’m reading a galley for ENEMY LOVER by Karin Harper, which will be out at the end of next month. Her first line is Irony is one fickle, messed-up bitch, Angela thought.
