Yes, finally, fall is here (even if it still feels like summer down here in Alabama). I’m starting to see fall decorations in my neighborhood, and when I go shopping–oh, yeah, the Halloween materials are out!
Now, generally, during this time of the year, I love to curl up with a good paranormal book. (Okay, in the interest of total honesty, I ALWAYS like to read paranormals.) But, with Halloween beginning to loom, I find myself wanting to get an extra boost of supernatural fun. I’ve been re-reading some of my favorite paranormal tales. Writing my own paranormal.
And, in general, having fun with my monsters.
Are you like me? Do you enjoy a paranormal boost in October? And what’s your favorite paranormal read?

Me, I’m really not into paranormals too much, but I do have Mr Darcy, Vampyre, and with the way things have been, I haven’t read it since I got it — so, I figure, October is approaching, why not save it for tis the season and all.
Should fit in quite nicely, and Darcy is always in season, so no problem there!

I’m always in the mood for paranormals
but here in Nova Scotia, October is perfect for reading them- it’s cold and windy, the nights are darker, and the trees are bare, which makes everything look creepier!
I just picked up Belong to The Night and am saving it for October. I also like to re-read Jim Butcher, Laurell K Hamilton and Stephen King during October-and then sleep with the lights on
I love Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday. I read paranormal in between reading regular romance books so I don’t have a particular time that I read them. The last paranormal book I read was The Seeker by Lindsay McKenna. I always enjoy her books.
I read paranormals all year long, but something about October calls to reading about Witches, Warlocks and things that go bump in the night. *G* I’ve recently picked up quite a few books with ghosts lately, so something about Fall seems to call for them. *G*
