I call this time my “final countdown” period. You see, I’ve got just less than a week until my next Kensington Brava title, MIDNIGHT’S MASTER, is on the shelves of a bookstore near you (or available from your favorite online book retailer!).
This is the third installment in my Midnight trilogy, and to celebrate it’s release, I’ve been running “30 Days of Demons” over at my blog. If you haven’t checked out the demon fun, come on by! There are still plenty of prizes to win!
And if you’re curious about MIDNIGHT’S MASTER, well, let me share the blurb with you:
In a world of shadows, desire conquers all…
Tall, dark, and formidable, Niol Lapen is the last demon on earth most people would ask for a favor, yet the sexy little reporter who wanders into his club dares to do exactly that. Holly Storm already knows too much about his kind, and Niol has no wish to help her get in deeper over her head. But working alongside her may be the only way to stop a killer, even as it ignites a primal desire unlike anything he’s known.
Holly has seen firsthand what Niol is capable of, but that doesn’t frighten her nearly as much as her body’s instinctive reaction to him, or the wild, fierce passion that would tempt her to follow him through hell itself. Something evil and relentless is prowling the streets of Atlanta. And as Holly’s search leads her into danger that even Niol could never have predicted, she’ll uncover a secret that could rip her world apart.
*********************************************************************************
But MIDNIGHT’S MASTER isn’t the only upcoming Brava release that I have. In September, I’ll be in the BELONG TO THE NIGHT anthology with Shelly Laurenston and Sherrill Quinn (fabulous authors!).

And…guess what? I’ve got a BELONG TO THE NIGHT Advanced Reader Copy that I’d love to give away! So leave me a comment. Tell me about your plans for the week (mine consist of my previously mentioned publishing countdown!), or tell me about the good books you’ve read lately. I’ll be back on Friday to announce the winner. Good luck!

Hi Cynthia,
Can’t wait for Midnight’s Master!
This week will be spent going to the park, then the pool. Next day park….pool. I have a feeling this is how my summer will be with my cutie patootie. The only thing that breaks up the sameness is a good read. I recently just got done reading Deeper by Megan Hart and I LOVED IT! It was the best book I have read in months. That’s likely to change once I get my hands on MM
Hi Cynthia
So looking forward to Midnight’s Master, I’ve already started looking at the bookstores to see if it’s arrived; and then I have to wait till the fall for Belong to the Night, torture! I’ll be working this week right till sunday so I’m hoping we’ll have good weather then and I can have found Midnight’s Master and sit outside to read.
Have a great week.
Cynthia,
just stopped by to say congrats on your upcoming releases. Don’t enter me because I won an ARC of Belong to the Night from Shelley Laurenston. I can’t wait to read it (have to finish Skin Trade 1st).
My week so far has been spent working during the day (my boss is on vacation) and trying to get my daughter/grandaughter’s room painted so we can move their furniture back in and I can get their stuff out of my living room and den. My house looks like a Babies R Us store right now.
Hoping to take a break and go to the waterpark in town this weekend.
I’m staying in cool air conditioning all week, revising. I recently read The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley, and it’s wonderful!
Next week, I hope I’ll be reading Midnight’s Master!
Hi Cynthia,
MIDNIGHT’S MASTER sounds like a wonderful read! Congrats on that and the new anthology coming out in Sept!
This week I’m planning to get some reading in and work in the garden.
I’m staying at my moms this week and helping with painting and priming her front wrap around porch.
Just working and trying to stay cool. I just finished 2 books of Ilona Andrews Magic Bites and Magic Strikes and I loved them and I got to read this fabulous arc from the fabulous writer. You might have heard of her its Midnight’s Master by Cynthia Eden and girl you did it again. Love love love your books.
Wonderful covers!! Midnight’s Master sounds great,it’s on my wishlist!
This week I’m still at work, next week my four weeks vacation begins, can’t wait! For now I’m going to sit in my garden reading Lara Adrian’s Ashes of Midnight and Christine Feehan’s Burning Wild.
Don’t enter me….but congrats on your upcoming releases, and OMG, I am just trying to stay the hell out of the heat. Ugh, it’s terrible, and it’s JUNE, for God’s sake. Talk about your Dog Days of Summer!!
My middle son has Defensive Driving classes this week so we’re staying close to the house. It’s so hot and humid it hard to enjoy anything outside during the day. This morning I finished Double Play by Jill Shalvis and hope to start Sweet Restraint by Beth Kery later today.
I hope to get some more knitting done this week and I might go to a friend’s tomorrow for poker night. Maybe the new Transformers movie on Friday. Oh and then my team’s playing two softball games this weekend. Gah, I’m with Pamk on trying to stay cool. It’s sooo hot and gross right now. The last three books I read and really enjoyed were Georgia Evans’ Bloody Right, Lisa Hendrix’s Immortal Warrior and Caitlin Kittredge’s Street Magic.
Hey Cynthia! My plans for the week include work, laundry, dishes, and more work ( and maybe a little reading ) I just finished Jaci Burton’s The Darkest Touch – awesome! I just started Chey McCray’s Demons not Included and so far it is fantastic! Of course this is all to keep me busy while I wait for a certain someones new book to come out. For everyone whose temps are as hot as ours are STAY COOL!
Hi Cynthia, a great series that I was late to discover, was Jocelyn Drake’s, Hunter series, wow, totally love her writing. Just started reading J.K. Coi’s, Forever Immortal, and she has a female demon! Another great storyteller, I will definitely be tracking down her backlist.
Hi Cynthia,
Congrats on the upcoming release of “Midnight’s Master.” I’ll probably hang out with my friend this weekend and go shopping. Hopefully there are some good sales. We might also catch a movie.
Huge congrats, Cynthia! What a busy month for you! This week’s plans are to start cleaning… Not very exciting! (Please don’t include me either
)
Friend of mine loaned me your books so I can’t wait to start to read them. My plans for the week is always the same to stay cool, keep an eagle eye on my boys, and keep my house clean. Seems about hard to do.
My only plans are to survive the week.
Early happy release day!
Hi Cynthia! I am just trying to keep cool in this heat… Just finished reading Eclipse by Stephanie Meyers..Now working on reading The Host and Breaking Dawn
Congrats on the upcoming release! Sounds good!
I’ve been rereading Hotter After Midnight and Such a Pretty Fat by Jen Lancaster. Congratulations on your Upcoming Release!
Hi Cynthia, can’t wait to read both those releases.
Not much doing this week, we’ve been having rain just about every day, so no beach days even though it’s summer or impromptu picnics and get-togethers out in the yard. Good thing I have lots of books to catch up on. Right now I’m reading the St. Cyr regency mysteries by CS Harris (aka Candace Proctor) – What Angels Fear and now reading the second, When Gods Die, and I’m liking hero Sebastian St. Cyr a lot, disillusioned soldier who gets into solving murders when he’s accused and needs to clear his name in the first book.
I am so looking forward to both of these books. Congrats on the releases.
I am working and reading multiple stories from Samhain and Amber Quill Press. Do not enter me I also got and ARC for Shelley but I still need to buy the book for the cover alone. Love the first line of your story and now need to move this up on my TBR to finish the story.
Hi Cynthia,
I’m having fun celebrating Niol.
I’ve got homework this week, but I’m slowly reading Fairyville by Emma Holly on my relax times.
Hugs, Danette
Hi Cynthia~
I am really looking forward to Midnight’s Master!! My plans for this week pretty much are the same as always…work, home, possibly a little babysitting of the grandbabies, and spending time with the family. Oh, we are planning on seeing Transformers this weekend.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Hi, everyone! Thanks for all the comments (and congrats!!).
The winner is…Jacqueline L! Congrats, Jacqueline!
Have a great weekend!
Congrats Jacqueline L! I’m late to the party, but had to post about the latest book I read. I just finished reading an ARC of Fade to Black by Leslie Parrish. The release date is July 7 and everyone should run out and buy this book on the release date.
