I went strictly as a reader and didn't attend the conference workshops. I also go to Lori Foster's/Dianne Castell's annual Reader/Writer event in Cincinnati every year. 2009 is year #5. It's gotten bigger, but it's still a more comfortable environment and a great chance to meet up with friends. Plus it's much more affordable. I highly recommend it for anyone who's never been.
