Oh I remember one I read in historicals! I think those are the ones I only remember any with politicians in them! LOL. This hero was from Maggie Osborne's (she wrote alot of western historical romances, beautiful reads) A Stranger’s Wife, where the hero did alot of political campaigning in it as the hero runs for governor. Great topic, makes me want to check out more I missed. Thanks for those posted! I'd love to be in the contest. Thanks. I love those sport heros!

In most books with politics as a setting usually the hero or heroine is only related or works for a politician.

I couldn't remember one where the hero is the politician, so I googled and found this one:
Come Be My Love (1983) by Diana Brown - Regency
Darius Wentworth, the hero, is a politician.

Exclusive by Sandra Brown - the President was not the hero but just a character. Same goes for the last book in Susan Mallery's Buchanan Series; the hero was the adopted son of a politician I think.

Someone mentioned Nora Roberts and the story line featuring a president, that was one of the MacGregor stories. And sorry, but the only other book that I've read that features a politician in contemporary times is WElcome to Temptation. *G*
