Hi, everyone! As I write this post, I’m taking a breather from my copy-edit work on MIDNIGHT SINS. (I really love that title!) I’m enjoying checking in with the characters in this book–my heroine is a succubus. (This is the first time I’ve written a demon book; in the past, I’ve been a shifter or vampire girl.) Researching the succubus, well, now that was a fun experience. Try Googling “succubus”–when you see the results, you’ll understand what I mean. 
I can’t remember if I’ve posted the cover for MIDNIGHT SINS yet, so I’ll just put it up (again?).

When I was in the process of writing this story and my friends asked me to describe it, I told ‘em it was Basic Instinct meets The X-Files (and, by the way, I’m really looking forward to that new movie! Mulder, I have missed you!).
But I’d probably better get back to reviewing the copy-edits…

Great cover and I am definitely looking forward to reading this book as I love the paranormal stories…exciting and unique, yet full of passion and romance with heroes and heroines of unusual abilities and strengths. I am not looking forward to any special movie right now, but I am certainly awaiting Sherrilyn Kenyon’s book, ‘Acheron’ coming in August.
Hi Cynthia, I am desperately awaiting both of the new Brendon Fraiser movies coming out, Journey To The Center Of The Earth, and The Mummy 3. I am also awaiting a few new books that are coming out, one of which happens to be Everlasting Bad Boys! So count me in!!!
I have at least 3 summer books that I can’t wait for that I can think of off the top of my head. They are Turbulent Seas by Christine Feehan, Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer and Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh. I like the cover for your book and enjoyed the blurb as well.
Hi Cynthia! I just LOVE the cover! I’m actually looking forward to a very few movies this summer. I would like to see “Wanted” this weekend and then next week I want to check out “Hancock”. They both look like they will be pretty good!
Hi Cynthia!!! I love this cover for Todd’s book! I wasn’t sure if he was in a novella in one of the anthologies but now I see he’s got a full novel, more time to spend with him.
I learned alot with your book, HOTTER AFTER MIDNIGHT, about the many different ‘others’ and will be excited to read a succubus. That will be perfect for him. I shall google it! But at the same time I’ll end up getting lost and forgetting time spending too much time learning about them!
I don’t watch movies much at all! Just a comedy with my hubby now and then. I want to get Shelley Laurenston’s THE BEAST IN HIM! I think it was released last month? I do need to shop for it. Love her shape-shifters/wolves series! I’m reading WHEN HE WAS BAD now and its so good!
I too want to try Charlotte Mede and her Historical Romances! She has one out now and one at the end of July. I don’t know if they are related books (but usually I read in order if its only a couple of books). They sound great. So with yours coming out and other Brava’s lots to look forward to!
I looking forward to the new Batman movie and the new Hell Boy movie.

Oh readers, if you didn’t read HOTTER AFTER MIDNIGHT, Todd is the hero’s partner in the book. Got to know him very little in that book so can be read alone, but you shouldn’t miss HOTTER AFTER MIDNIGHT. It was a special world that Cynthia put together, nothing like I ever read before. I still have scenes I’m thinking about after a couple months of reading it!! Especially the one in the hall…I shall say no more. Hehe

As I was reading the comments, I saw several movies I’m itching to see (Mummy 3, Hellboy 2, and Hancock are definites on my list) and I saw several books I can’t wait to read (Turbulent Seas, Pleasure Unbound, Acheron, oh, yeah!).

I love the cover for “Midnight Sins” - you definitely got a gift from the cover fairy there :). And I love love love the Brava bad boys anthologies. Hm… this summer, I’ve been looking forward to so many books - some have come out - The Lost Duke of Wyndham, Lover Enshrined, Not Another Bad Date - then Hostage to Pleasure, Wild Card, and I’m sure 10+ more I’m forgetting. As for movies… I have been waiting forever for “Dark Knight.” “Wanted” also looks very interesting.
And… not something you asked about - but for the summer in general, I’m excited about the Olympics. I have one friend who will definitely be competing, and another who might be depending on how training camp goes. So, that’ll be fun to watch them on tv.

I loved Hotter After Midnight,Cynthia, very sexy and great intro into the world of the Others. Can’t wait to read Todd’s story, and hope we get a little info on what’s going on with Emily and Colin.
As for summer releases, Lora Leigh has a couple I am really looking forward to: Wild Card and Nauti Dreams, which both are due out in August.
