Happy New Year and I have to ask — have you made a list?
Sure I could lose a few pounds, learn Spanish, sleep less and write more. But I decided to give myself a break in 2008. The only item on my list is to go to the local bookstore tomorrow because that’s the day my first historical romance, Explosive, hits the shelves. I’m thrilled. The rest can wait until 2009.
So how about you? Once you’ve cleared away the champagne glasses and shortbread crumbs are there any resolutions, goals or must-do stuff on your horizon?

I’ve never been big on resolutions, thinking in more general terms like eating healthier, being nicer, things like that. This year I have a few things, and I’m actually having fun with them because I started a bit early: take more pictures and save money. I have this cute change jar that actually tells you how much you’ve saved, so now I love putting money away. Saving for a few big trips this year.
I can’t wait to get my hands on your book, Charlotte. I’ve been waiting since your first post here.
I saw “Explosive” in a Borders Express on Sunday. My resolution is to curse less and be more productive. Less talk and more action is the way to go.
No majpr resolutions here. Just try and stay healthy and continue with my Yoga. *g* Happy New Year!
I don’t make any resolutions because I know they will only get broken, so just to stay healthy is all I will be striving to do.
I don’t make resolutions—they only get broken.
More a simple goal than a resolution: BE BETTER!
That’s it! But when I start applying it to all I hope to be better at…health, parenting, housekeeping, my business, and of course my writing…it’s a BIGGIE!
Congratulations on the new release, Charlotte! What a wonderful way to start the new year.
