I love the kids being home and clear nights that are warm enough that you can lay on a blanket and stare at the stars. But, after I think about it, I love the fall because of football and the changing of the leaves. I hate cold weather, so winter is a total bust for me. I never go outside and if I do I look like a walking pile of clothes. The one plus of winter is a fire in the fireplace, a cup of hot chocolate and a good book. I adore the spring. The promise of new beginnings, the smell of new grass, honeysuckles. I think I need to move somewhere warm, so that I can have all the things I love and not the one thing I hate.
