I am enjoying the Harry Potter book right now. I don't like to speed read because I like to take in every little detail. I have gone back over the Potter story I am reading right now just to memorize some details or to reread a favorite passage. Also, I like to figure things out for myself as I read a story. I also have a hard time reading a book in public because I get distracted easily by people and noises. I have to have it quiet in order to read or I can't concentrate. This usually occurs when the kids and their friends are running around the house during the day. I also read by the pool, because I can't see the laptop by the pool (glare). Sometimes I'll have several hours to read, but I can't imagine sitting down for 6(!) hrs and reading non-stop. Sounds nice though.
