Hi Guys! I’m feeling a little bit worn out and under the weather today, so I’m going to cheat. Answer a question and I’ll pick five people to win one book each from my Brava Backlist which includes:
WICKED WOMEN WHODUNIT Anthology
THE SEX ON THE BEACH BOOK CLUB
SUN SAND SEX Anthology
The question: Who is the most romantic couple you know?
For me, it was my aunt and uncle. They traveled, the fought, they made up, they face tragedy, and they experienced joy. And right up until my aunt passed away, they had each other. When my aunt died, my uncle was by her bed, holding her hand. And a year later, when I look into my uncle’s eyes, the love he feels for her lives on.
So who is the most romantic couple you know?
I’ll randomly choose the winners and post their names on the comments tomorrow (Friday).
Good Luck!

My aunt and uncle by marriage. They still are so close even after there many years of marriage. It is so obvious that they consider each other their best friend. When hubby and I are there age I hope we will still have that spark they still do.
I would have to say my “honary” aunt and uncle who are well in their 80’s. They still hold hands when walking together, lol.
I would have to say my mother-in-law & fil. They are pretty sweet. They renewed their vows 2 yrs ago, she didn’t know anything about it til that day.
I would have to say my mother-in-law & father-in-law. They are always holding hands where ever they go, into the store or just walking. He is about to turn 80 this year and he helps her with the dishes. I am always seeing them give each other a kiss for no reason at all, it’s an, I love you kiss. I can only hope that the love they have for one another, my husband and I will have when we have been together as long as they have.
My son and his wife. My son is devoted and they are extremely sweet and cute together. They just celebrated their anniversary on Tues.
I have to say that it is friends who have been married for many years but are still very affectionate and caring with each other.
Oh pooh, I don’t know any. The couples that I knew and lived with, grandparents, an aunt and uncle and the like, weren’t all that happy, but stuck together. Sigh. Well, there is my Kitty and me, but that’s about it. LOL
Lois
My Mamaw and Papaw. They loved each other and even after my Papaw died, my Mamaw spoke to him everyday. She lived for another 20 years after him, and she said goodnight to him everyday until the end of her life. I wasn’t there when she passed but the story goes that she smiled at her children and told them not to be said because she was so happy she had waited along time to go see her Don and this was their time to be together forever. Wow, I miss them.
Definitely my aunt and uncle. They’ve both passed now but when I think of them, it’s always as a couple and it always makes me smile. They truly were two halves that made a whole. They had their share of hard times as everyone does but I don’t remember them ever focusing on that. They were both so full of love, always ready with a smile and a hug for not only each other but anyone else in the family that needed it. Two very special people.
My Aunt and Uncle are the most romantic couple I know. You never see one without the other. Church, grocery shopping, you name it, they are always together. He still opens doors for her and treats her “right.”
The most romantic couple I know is my mother and her husband. They are true soulmates. He was there for my mother while she battled cancer, three times. He was by her side, day and night holding her hand. He is always in my mother’s corner, rooting for her. He also is a damn good cook and spoils her rotton.
She’s his soulmate because she’s constantly doing sweet things for him like massaging his feet or giving him back rubs.
I’ve been dying to read The Sex on the Beach Book Club and those other books sound good too! Good luck everyone!
my boss and her husband, they are so cute they can laugh at each other.
my mom and dad too.
Hello Jennifer,
Great topic
The most romantic couple I know is my best friend Amy and her husband Ricky. They’ve been married for 10 years and are so in love. It’s the little things they do for each other that really show that they care. They treat each other with so much respect and it’s a beautfiful releationship.
Jennifer your books all sound good. I look forward to reading them
Hugssss

My aunt and uncle. My uncle passed away about 10 years ago. My aunt still hasn’t stopped grieving for him. My uncle was great. He would clean the house, do the dishes, and was the nicest person I know.
Without a doubt for me it’s my husband’s parents. They have been married for 50 years. They have 5 children, 2 with special needs, just like me and my husband. They are the example we try to emulate
My sister-in-law and her husband. She finally found her soulmate and they are totally in love after 10 years. They deserve their happiness and enjoy life.
My one time pastor and his wife. Even when I went to the church to see him for some counselling he said to me that he wanted to tell me something but he had to find his wife first. He wanted to tell me that I was getting along better and that I was looking good(good enough that I should be getting calls for dates) and that I was looking happier than I had been. True devotion.
I don’t know very many romantic couples, so I’m going to say my husband and me. We try to make the best of our free time and spend most of it together. It might be something small like a walk on the beach, or maybe something we do that’s silly but I think a lot of it is romantic and that’s after 20+ years. I wonder if my thinking comes from years of reading romance books. lol
I’m going to say my niece and her husband. They are going to have their 7th child soon but they still have that something special about them and a good sense of humor which amazes me.
Hi all,
Sorry to say, I don’t know any real life romantic couples either! Not really super romantic anyway! But if I could, I guess I would have to pick Darcy and Elizabeth!
I would say my brother and his wife. They are truly devoted to each other and are always doing sweet things to show their love for each other. He will pick wild flowers on his way home from work for her or build her something that represents something to them and she will drive to his work and leave balloons and a card in his truck or make a quilt or some craft that represents his hobbies.
The most romantic couple I can remember were our neighbors. They were both in their 80’s and would walk hand in hand everywhere. When he was working in his garden she would always come out with a smile on her face and a glass of lemonade for him. And as soon as our lilac trees went in to bloom he’d stop by and ask if it was alright to pick a bouquet because they were her favorites, blushing ever time! They passed away only a few days apart.
For me the most romantic couple is my parents. They have been married, 62 years come December and are still devoted to one another. They are always doing little things for each other that they know will bring pleasure to the other. They have overcome so much over the years, but have always been there for us kids and for each other.
Thank you all for the great answers!
