I finished a book and have hit that time I like to call sloth. This is where all activity is a chore, including the icky stuff (like laundry and cleaning) and the less icky stuff (like playing in the garden). At this time, my thoughts center on mindless activities (like watching whatever is on the Lifetime network). In other words, this is a perfect time to make a dent in that TBR pile. The one that now reaches higher than my ceiling.
Here are a few on my list:
COME AND GET ME by Alyssa Brooks
MIDNIGHT BRUNCH by Marta Acosta
MY IMMORTAL by Erin McCarthy (got an ARC of this one)
DEAD SEXY by Tate Hallaway
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED by Lucy Monroe

Smart and Sexy by Jill Shalvis! Take care of your shoulder too.
Thanks Susan. Forgot about Jill’s book. Must grab that one too.
They are not Brava books but a good read both are by LuAnn McLane. Her new one Dark Roots and Cowboy Boots and the one previous Dancing Shoes and Honky-Tonk Blues.
I have read Jill’s Smart and Sexy which was terrific. And I know you will enjoy Lucy Monroe’s Satisfaction Guaranteed it is a great read as well. I can hardly wait for both the sequels coming out for these authors. I believe Jill’s is out in November and Lucy’s out in December.
Just finished a couple of great books from my pile. Have you read either one? Treasure by Helen Brenna and Here she Lies by Kate Pepper.
Lucy’s book, Satisfaction Guaranteed was great. As was Jill’s Smart and Sexy!
Satisfaction Guaranteed and Smart and Sexy are on my tbr.
I read an oldie while I was away by Ginna Gray - Building Dreams - v.g. Also re-read SEP’s Nobody’s Baby But Mine - forgot how funny it was.
A very good erotic anthol with great stories was Jami Alden’s Taste of Honey. Skin on Skin will follow up with the 4th sexy brother.
I have read about 100 pgs of Lori Foster’s Simon Says which you so graciously sent me and next after that will be Debbie Macomber’s Back on Blossom Street.
Read my first P. J. Mellor - Pleasure Beach - very hot but really not much of a story. I have one or 2 others of hers on my tbr. My tbr has such goodies on it.
Jill’s “Smart and Sexy” is a great book and a definite read. I also loved Donna Kauffman’s book “The Great Scot”. I am currently reading Katherine Garbera’s “Make-Believe Mistress” and it is really good. Hope you find solace in a good book and rest your shoulder.
Definitely Jill’s book - LOVED it. I also recommend Shiloh Walker’s books (not Brava) the Hunter series. I’m almost done w/ Hunter’s Salvation and ahem, will post a review soon.
Forgot a lot of these books. Haven’t tried Shiloh Hunter’s books yet, but I have two on the TBR pile, so I’ll move her to the top.
I am reading “Rumble on the Bayou” by Jana DeLeon. It is a fast paced, exciting mystery. I love Jill Shalvis books. I have a lot of hers. My TBR pile is really deep also! About 80 deep! I told my friend about my TBR pile once and she beat me by a mile! She has over 200 in her TBR pile!
We are die hard book fans out here in Indiana!
