I just finished reading an advance copy of SUN, SAND, SEX, a Brava anthology with Linda Lael Miller, myself and Shelly Laurenston that will be out in June. Wow! Three very different stories! What is really awesome is that I haven’t read Shelly Laurenston before and now I’m hooked! I can’t wait for her next book. How fun is it to find a new author to love?
I’ve read Linda Lael Miller for years, of course. When my agent called to tell me I had a contract offer for an anthology with Linda Lael Miller, I was stunned! Even though I had a fast approaching deadline, I said HECK YEAH! I love her story in the book. The whole time I was reading it, my husband kept asking, “Is it good?”
“Dude, it’s Linda Lael Miller!”
“But is it good?”
Sigh, he just doesn’t get it. “Yes, it’s very good!”
For my story in the anthology, I can’t comment about how good it is or isn’t, but I can tell you I loved writing that one. I didn’t want to let go of Nick and Lexie. Lexie used a staple gun for self-defense and ends up on the run from the law. Nick is the bounty hunter hired to bring her in. It’s a simple job, what could go wrong?
My oldest son and husband said, “Seriously, a staple gun? She’s arrested for assault and battery with a staple gun?”
“Hey, it could happen,” I replied.
They hid all my staplers. LOL!
Anyway, I have two advance copies of SUN, SAND, SEX to give away. I am currently reading The Marcelli Princess by Susan Mallery. I am only in the third chapter, I have been having a hard time staying awake at night. Our cat had kittens 2 nights ago and we were up for that and last night the kittens meowed all night. LOL

I am about to start ‘Sex and the South Beach Chicas’ by Caridad Pineiro.
I am reading The Stranger I Married by Sylvia Day (finally!) and am looking forward to reading Vivi Anna’s latest from Nocturne

I am currently reading “One Real Cowboy” by Jan Kenny. I should be through with that tonight and I’m going to start on Keri Arthur’s “Full Moon Rising”. I hear this series is really good.
I have also been listening to Harlan Cobin’s “Deal Breaker” on my work commute. I have discovered a new love! I have seen his books for ages, but never read one. I just didn’t know what I was missing. If all of his novels are written in the same voice as his Myron Bolitar character, I got lots of new books to add to the TBR pile!
I recently finsihed “And The He Kissed Her” by Laura Lee Guhrke. I haven’t started a new book yet, but I did pull “Dangerous Curves” by Pamela Britton off of my bookshelf. Now to find time to read…
I just finished reading Any Bitter Thing by Monica Wood. Now I am starting The Crossroads Cafe by Deborah Smith.

I just picked up Lora Leigh’s Nauti Boy from the post office and will start reading it tonight!

I’m presently reading the first of two Jo Goodman books from the Compass Club series. I just wish I can fit in more than two or so chapters in a day! LOL

I just finished Who’s Been Sleeping In My Bed by Gemma Bruce - fun book! I’m now working on On the Line by Kathryn Shay.
I’m currently reading Ask For It by Sylvia Day and an Aphrodisia anthology that I can’t remember the title to, but it has a good story by Sasha White in it.
I’ve read Shelly Laurenston before in ebook form and just love her style. She’s so funny.

I am reading The Perfect Stranger by Alison Kent and it’s very good.

I just bought The Marcelli Princes and decided I should really read the other stories first so I just finished The Sparkling One and am moving to the next one. Doing It Right by MaryJanice Davidson just came in the mail and I’m waiting for The Great Scot by Donna Kauffman to arrive.
I am currently reading He Love’s Lucy By: Susan Donovan. This book is a laigh out loud and I love it very funny and very good read :-)I have a few more of her other books that I can’t wait to read

Oh, how I want this book! It sounds like it’s going to be a fabulous anthology with the three of you. That’s funny about your staplers! I am usually very rational, but once I was so angry that I threw a can of tuna at my husband. Now we buy the tuna packets :lol:.
I just finished Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward, and it was so good! I can’t wait for Lover Unbound to come out now.

I just finished reading THE MEMORY KEEPER’S DAUGHTER by Kim Edwards. My next book I’m going to read is HARMONY’S WAY by Lora Leigh. I’ll start it today.
Just finished reading one of Vince Flynn’s first books (1999). Now, onto the sequal (2001) and it’s already interesting how the author is going to involve the main character from the first book into this second book since his cover was blown in the first book! Interesting mix of characters also.
I have just finished a Intrigue series by Donna Young (I have had them for awhile) which caught my eye when I was going through my TBR pile. Think next up is Smart and Sexy by Jill Shalvis……..:smile:
