Lol... after reading thousands of romance novels over the years that have been published I can say I have seen quite a few issues arise, but my mind typically corrects them. There was one time several years ago that my mind locked down and I didn't finish the book because the author accidentally had the heroine cry out her brother's name rather than the hero while they were having their first love scene. I couldn't help but laugh, but my mind sort of hit the "icky" button and I couldn't finish it....

I haven't found anything too wrong in the books I have read, although I remember reading a story once and this was a few years back when they got the name of the hero wrong for about a chapter. But I kind of thought at the time that the author must have changed the name and somehow this had slipped through. But it didn't deter from the story, once I figured out who they were talking about.......

I find the hardest thing about writing is finding the time. My life seems to be busier everyday. I try to write at night, but I get so tired that the next day it doesn't make a lot of sense. Oh well, one day it will come together. As far as finding typos I think it is funny. I don't really think that the author really controls this, we all overlook mistakes after we have looked at something long enough.

I am not a writer, but a blatant error I saw and cant remember name of the book - but the back blurb had the hero having a son and in the book he had a daughter (or vice versa - dont remember now - read it quite a long time ago). It was terrible as I kept waiting for the child to die and the opposite sex to be born.

Nothing too strange. And this is probably weird, but I usually get a kick out of finding typos (I used to proofread in my work). The only time it's annoyed me is when it was the wrong name and it took me a while to figure out and of course that took me out of the story.
