This is my first official post on the Brava authors blog because even though I think I’m technically savvy, I’m not. February is one of my favorite months and not just because of Valentine’s Day! I met my husband in February and we had our very first date on Feb. 12. We were young (18 and 19) and went to a concert at Disney called Valentine Heartbeat. He gave me two dozen roses and a huge box of yummy chocolates and I have to say I was smitten.
He was the romantic guy I’d been waiting for. We had a great time at the concert and ten months later he asked me to marry him. I’ve never regretted it. He’s still romantic even after 17 years of marriage.
The other reason I love February is that my youngest child was born on the 20th. He’s this smart, funny little guy and he’s going to be 10! I can’t believe how fast the time has gone and I think that it is probably time for me to stop saying I still haven’t dropped my post-pregnancy weight. I mean he’s ten. Way past the baby stage!
I’ve been busy working on my September Brava release…Sex With A Stranger. My heroine, Jane, unfortunately didn’t marry the kind of guy my hubby is. So divorced and disgusted she’s decided to head to Vegas and make some changes in her life. You know do a little wild living. And my hero Liam O’Roarke (he’s one of Andi’s brothers–from Body Heat) is just the guy to help her with her wild living.
I am having a lot of fun writing about Sin City and these two characters.

Why do I love February? Because it’s that much closer to March, and spring? LOL. I love V-Day, even though I don’t have a sweetie. I figure I can always give myself gifts, because shouldn’t you love yourself? *g* Um, what else…the days get longer in February. It’s a short month. I guess that about covers it
I’m a big believer in buying myself gifts for all the holidays. My kids are pretty funny about it asking which gift is from Mom, to Mom!

I love February because it is one month closer to spring. Being a romantic at heart, I love to watch all of the love stories on television. My husband tries to be romantic, but I when he helps me do things around the house is what I call true romance. Nothing like watching a man fold our kids laundry to make my heart go pitter pat.
I love it when my husband helps out around the house. He’s started doing the clothes on Saturdays and it’s really nice.
My husband doesn’t cook but he hangs out in the kitchen while I’m cooking and chats with me. I really like that.

it is closer to spring and sometimes love is in the air. it is Chinese new year, year of the dog,love it.
I love the February weather and the new flowers
I love the Chinese new year, Kim. It’s always so much fun.
I like the flowers too Maria especially with Valentine’s Day so close. My last job at Walt Disney World, I worked a cross-u position for the Florist on Valentine’s day selling flowers at a kiosk in an office building, people say some of the funniest things about that holiday.

Why do I love February? Because it’s the last official full month of winter, meaning that SPRING IS ON THE WAY:!:
I love February because it is that much closer to the Spring weather, especially after the snow, wind and cold we have been having………..My daughter was born on the 18th of February……….:grin:
