Valentine’s Day Seduction Scene

Thought that might get you attention on a cold January day. :-)

In my books the sex scenes are usually any place but in a bed because the hero and heroine never quite make it there. In fact, of all the sex scenes I’ve written I think an actual bed was involved maybe two times. So now I’m doing something different in this next book, an actual Valentine Seduction scene. A real planned event with a bed!

Since this is virgin territory for me (sorry about that, couldn’t resist) I need some help. I need suggestions.

Do you think it’s better when the hero or the heroine plan a seduction?
What about a place? Where would be your ideal place to plan a seduction? Castle? Tent in the woods? Tree house?

What about accessories? Candlelight? Roving minstrels under the window? Wine? Beer? Grape juice? Propel (I’m addicted to that stuff)?

Attire? Should the hero or heroine dress for the scene? Something from Fredrick’s of Hollywood? A towel? A robe? A lacey hankie? Nothing?

What about fluffy blankets? Silk sheets?

Now’s the time to plan your perfect seduction scene…and share it with me. 

All suggestions are most helpful and to show my appreciation for these great suggestions I’ll pick two names form the posts and give away copies of Texas Bad Boys.

Well if it’s for V-Day, then it would definitely have to be more romantic. Not necessarily planned, but definitely not a quick roll in the hay. Maybe the day started out with a day outdoors, making a snowman that ended in a snowball fight or riding around on snowmobiles with the wind blowing in their faces and the need for speed providing a feeling of exhileration.

I would start with the hero giving the heroine a nice, leisurely massage, slowly undressing her and getting her relaxed and comfortable, but also leaving her in anticipation for more of his touch. There could be romantic music in the background, possibly a warm fire and scented candles (vanilla or cinnamon, nothing too flowerly or overpowering). Next, the hero might feed his lady with strawberries dipped in chocolate (and he can be a little creative here ;) )

Knowing you, there’d be a touch of humor. Maybe instead of the massage, they’re watching American Idol and pretending to be contestants, which leads to humor and silliness and then seduction of the sweet kind. A Peep fight that ends on a happy note. Oh, the possibilities are endless….

  2. Angie-la Says:

Personally, I prefer the spontaneous. However,if done properly I think the luxurious hotel room with wine, dinner and soft jazz music is a scene just ripe for seduction.
There should also be a bubble bath involved. Nothing too cheesy, though. And it should appear to be spontaneous, even if it is not!

  3. Teresa W. Says:

My ideal Vaelentine hookup would be on a beuutiful island. This is how my scene would go: on that island there would be a beautiful lagoon with a very romantic waterfall. The couple would enjoy a nice refreshing swim in the lagoon. then they would make their way to the waterfall where they would enjoy themselves in. Behind the waterfall would be a nice cave dry with all the comforts for a wonderful evening of lovemaking while outlooking from the inside of the waterfall. I’ve always pictured this scene in my head for a romantic getaway!

  4. Maria Duncan Says:

I have to say I like the cheese,
Lots of rose petals scattered over a king sized four poster bed.
Satin sheets, a beautiful silken nightie for the heroine.
Black silk boxers for the hero.
Strawberries dipped in chocolate, Candles everywhere.
And good music, I’m thinking Tony Bennett.

There you go, my perfect seduction scene

  5. Cherie Japp Says:

I would say a resort hotel room with a jacuzzi. There should be candlelight. The hero and heroine whould share Godiva chocolates and each have a glass of wine. The heroine would be wearing a silk camisole. He would wear silk boxers. The sheets would be silk as well and some of Michael Bolton’s romantic love songs would be playing.

  6. Lisa W Says:

I would say if its a planned scene then got for all the props…clothing, bed sheets, mood lighting, and of course sexy toys, lol.

  7. Deborah Says:

Sure I like both spontaneous sex scenes and planned one. Any sex scenes are good.

  8. Shuck Ying Says:

A perfect planned scene for the bed room would of couse be nice soft sheets, maybe rose petals on the bed, some scented candle lighting and of course the heroine dressed in somthing sexy. The hero wearing a robe and nothing else.

  9. TammyG. Says:

I’d say a castle with large sunken bath, which would hold several people. That is feed from a hot spring. There would be several candles for lighting. I’d have it like a medieval scene. There would be a verity of fruits, cheeses, breads & wine. Not to mention the bed that would be considered king size, but would be 24″ thick filled with feathers. Her robe, you would be able to see her outline it would be so sheer. His robe would be a shade darker but not much. There would be warming oil to use after the bath.

  10. Dianne Castell Says:

Now what about food?? We have the chocolate covered strawberries…what else? Personally I’m a huge fan of whipped cream in the can. Endless possibilities and you can even write directions.

  11. Lois Says:

Heck, I’ll take any of those. . . but something with chocolate is always good I think. :)

    Lois

  12. Mary J Says:

Wow, men should read these comments.

I like the idea of green and black’s milk chocoalte covered brazil nuts, marshmallows and strawberries. Food is a huge turn-on for me

  13. Kimberly H Says:

    Recipe for a perfect seduction-
    -Snow (maybe snowball fight before)
    -HUGE fireplace
    -Hot coco
    -Marshmellows for roasting(and chocolate too)
    -Big fuzzy blankets

Bubble baths and ice cream are nice as well. :)

I think that the best seduction is the spur of the moment kind where you use what you have in the house.

  14. Mary J Says:

I like the idea of a large, luxurious hotel suite with a balcony looking out over a beautiful garden with a waterfall.
Candles everywhere, strawberries, champagne, a big round soft bed with silk sheets.
A hot tub on the balcony.
    Lacy lingerie.
    A hot hot man.

    Ummmmmmm

  15. MD Says:

Can I have all of the above please?

    It’s all so amazing,
    #
I think a big fire is important, and chocolate, and lots of cushions.

  16. Aisling Says:

I think lots of different shades of red. The heroine’s dress, the bed covers, the candles, the rose petals, the strawberries(well duh!), everything.

    And Barry White of course.

  17. MD Says:

A roaring fire, with soft blankets and cushions in front of it. And some yummy treats too.

  18. Cryna Says:

Wow, you all come up with some fantastic ideas. I like the spontaneous scenes, but if it is planned then all the trimmings would be expected……….

  19. Dianne Castell Says:

I love ribs and trying desperately to figure a way to do ribs and a seduction scene.

  20. Angie-la Says:

    RIBS??? OMG, Dianne!!!
I guess you could use one like a paintbrush and make designs on each other with the sauce.

Or maybe have the woman eat one kinda like the chick in Flashdance did with the lobster and melted butter….

  21. JT Says:

Rose petals are a must, definitely the whipcream and possibly chocolate sauce–nothing liked a well dressed hero. Strawberries and candles the only light. Of course, a very elaberate bathroom nearby with a hot tub big enough for two or a glass shower with a bench. End it nicely on a four poster bed with silk sheets and draped sheers. That should cover it–or uncover it

  22. Crystal B. Says:

a 4 star hotel room, candles, a full body massage, clothing not required

  23. Dianne Castell Says:

I agree TJ, a well dress man is always lovely to look at. A guy in a tux is yummy. :-)

  24. Susan Says:

I love ribs too! You could use them for very good reasons for clothing to be removed, after all you do have to clean up after eating them.

  25. Julia B. Says:

I love seduction scenes. I like all, but really love when the hero cooks for the heroine and I love when they are having fun, laughing, maybe playing with food or drinks and begin foreplay with them.

  26. Linda Says:

    Hello Dianne,

I had posted this on the other blog accessromance. Thought I would post it here as well.

Don’t mind me my mind just went to another place. I just started to write and everything sounded good so I just kept writing it. I guess this is one of my fantasies

It’s valentine’s day and (Hero’s Name) is at work. (Heroine’s Name) is in the hot tub
relaxing. The hero comes home to surprise his woman with roses and some chocolate with strawberries. He walks in and doesn’t see his woman. He then finds her in the hot tub but she don’t see him. He thought he would surprise her he decides to put rose petals around the bedroom. He starts from the bedroom floor to the bed. He lights up some rose scented candles. He puts the chocolate dipped strawberries on the side of the bed. The hero is all done with all the surprises and then goes to join his woman in the hot tub. He starts to wash her back as he is washing her back she gets all hot and bothered. They both start to kissing and touching then leading to the bedroom. She is surprised to see all he had done while she was in the hot tub and then pushes him down on the bed. She then starts to him all over he whispers in her ear baby I’m here to fill your needs just laydown on your back and relax. She does what he says and he goes and reach for the chocolate dipped strawberries and makes a heart shape around her belly button. He eats them off of her as he is doing this she is moaning and screaming his name. One thing led to another.

    Hugssss
    Linda.H.

  27. TammyG. Says:

Do we have any winners yet?

  28. Linda Says:

SHe had picked the winners on the accessromance blog site. I am not sure if she will pick new winners on here. That would be nice if she does. Even if she doesn’t it felt good to write up one of my fantasies that I didn’t even know I wanted to be done till now
